Farmer's Market Is Opened to Limited Number Of Players!

Thursday, May 27, 2010

Wednesday May 26th - The highly anticipated Farmer's Market is being rolled out to a limited number of players as a test and will continue in waves until it is fully integrated into the game,Zynga Farmville forums has announced this tonight and you may read all about it at this address.

(From a wonderful moderator over at Gamers Unite.)

What do you guys think of it so far?

My 2 Cents as of right now:

Alright, after skimming through the announcement post(it is a very lengthy one) from the Zynga forums, I think the rewards are alright if you are a low to moderate level. The description may look confusing and hard to understand at first but I'm sure once you actually get the hands on experience it will be easy. I'm still trying to take some of it in.

Basically you collect bushels of a specific crop you harvested and they go into a market stall that is designated just for that one crop. The more people that come by and take a bushel the more rewards you can get.Rewards totals can accumulate based on the number of unique people that come to visit your market stall and take a bushel. There is a limit to how many unique people count towards the reward totals which is set at 24.

Current Rewards:
* Coins=400 per person
* Fuel=15 Units per person (Unit=1 Notch on the Fuel gauge)
* XP=10 per person

So that means the maximum amount for each reward would be(if they don't make changes):
Coins:9600
Fuel:360 units which equals to 2 full cans and about 1/3 of can of fuel because there are 150 notches for 1 full can of fuel on the gauge.
Xp:240

I really hope these rewards are not permanent and they tweak it for higher levels because I really don't see any amazing benefits for all the hard crop mastery that were put in for some of the harder crops grown. Again they said it's a test phase, so that's good even though the entire game is already in Beta test stage =p

Access past Farmville Mystery Boxes and other items in Market

UPDATE: Upload the file here! It is in an attachment in the forum post!

Now when I got to the step about replacing the file, it ended up as a text file. I'm not sure what I did (just wing it) but it worked and I was able to see all past mystery boxes in Farmville and even send them to neighbors...even the 7-11 cow!!!

The steps:

Steps by Rich:

"1) Clear all your cache for your browser. Then open your farm.

Do this on your browser by clicking Tools>options>advanced>network>clear...you may also want to change the number from 50 to 1000 so some of your pages load a little faster. it's where I have all my pcs set on. If firefox is unstable then you can download www.flock.com and use it the snag bar will work so will most of your normal add ons.

2) Just like in the previous hack you need a dummy account or a Trusted friend to work with.

3)Open a new tab and enter "about:cache" into the browser's address bar.

4) The second group "Disk cache device" will have a blue link Example :"List Cache Entries" click this which will open your cache for your games.

5)Click edit at the top of your browser and select find.

6)Type in the word gamesettings it will match a file called gamesettings.xml

7)click on the link it will look similar to this:
http://static-facebook.farmville.com/v2737/gameSettings.xml.gz

8) The 7th line down is what your looking for. The last numbers are important and everything before that will be needed as well the line will say:" file on disk:

9) Copy just the last numbers down on a notepad
C:\Users\Johndoe\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\t977azle.default\Cache\ A3DD804Bd01

I spaced mine so you could find them easy

10)Then download this file to your desktop

11)Click your windows start menu open "Computer" and copy the first part of the link
Example: C:\Users\Johndoe\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\t977azle.default\Cache\ (no numbers on the end this time. This will get you to the cache area of the game where most hacks are done.

12)Finally go back to your desktop or where ever you saved the file you downloaded from media share. And rename the file to the numbers on the notepad.

13) Finally copy the renamed file to the cache folder I had you open it will ask you if you want to replace the file if you have done this correctly. Go ahead and replace then refresh your farm. Click on specials or any tab you get the old mystery boxes and plenty more. Now your all ready but here's the catch you can not place these items on your farm! You have to send it to a friend that has done this same hack or log in a dummy account and send the items to yourselves. if you want the market to return to normal just refresh.

Final note this file was made before the new items so one thing might be missing! But if you look you can send the new years ball for COINS! As well as get the big oak! That was never released! If you have any questions post in this forum only I'm going to play some more and see what I can find good luck! the items do cost farm cash to send! Sorry to cut into everyone's profit they was making off this but it's not rocket science! I did delay my post on this cause for some attempts to take this hack father but out of risk it being shut down from all the people wanting to make a profit I figured I would let yall run with the big boys for a bit! Please share as much as you want!

Enjoy again Rich!"

Some say they cannot download the file. I'll upload it elsewhere. In the meantime, email me for the file.
